Este año nuestra Parroquia celebra su 150 aniversario. Este es un momento muy importante para la vida de nuestra Iglesia. Muchos años atrás un grupo de devotos católicos vio la necesidad de que la Iglesia estuviera presente en el Este de Lynn, y crearon nuestra querida Parroquia. Para celebrar estamos preparando muchos eventos para el mes de Junio. Les invito a participar y celebrar con nosotros. Este es el calendario de eventos:
1) 13 de Junio a las 7pm en el Salón Parroquial Charla sobre la Familia y la Vida: “Clínica de la Vida.” Entrada Gratuita.
2) 14 de Junio a las 7pm en la Iglesia Concierto Católico de Angelito Villalona. $30.
3) 21 de Junio a las 7pm en el Salón Parroquial 150 Aniversario Cena de Gala. $60.
4) 30 de Junio a las 11:30am en la Iglesia Misa de 150 Aniversario presidida por el Cardenal O’Malley.
5) 30 de Junio de 9am a 9pm Dia de la Familia-Festival de Verano.
Además de todos estos eventos hemos hecho camisetas conmemorativas y pronto lanzaremos nuestra rifa anual de los carros y cash. Espero que podamos celebrar juntos esta alegre ocasión y que continuemos con la misión que el Señor ha encomendado a nuestra parroquia de anunciar el amor de Dios a todo el mundo.
This year our Parish celebrates its 150th anniversary. This is a very important moment for the life of our Church. Many years ago a group of devoted catholic people saw the need for the Church to be present in East Lynn, and they brought this to completion, creating what today is our beloved Parish. In order to celebrate we are preparing many events that will take part in the month of June. We invite you to participate and celebrate with us. The schedule of the celebrations will be as follows:
1) June 13 at 7pm in the Parish Hall Talk about Family and Life: “Life Clinic.” Free.
2) June 14 at 7pm in the Upper Church Catholic Concert by Angelito Villalona. $30.
3) June 21 at 7pm in the Parish Hall 150th Anniversary Gala Dinner. $60.
4) June 30 at 11:30am in the Upper Church 150th Anniversary Mass presided by Cardinal O’Malley
5) June 30 from 9am to 9pm Summer Family Day Festival.
In addition to this we have made commemorative T-Shirts and will launch our yearly Car and Cash Raffle.
I hope we can celebrate together this joyful occasion and continue with the mission that the Lord has entrusted to our Parish of announcing the love of God to every person.
